    @MeganatLFPress I think it's that 50%+1 is the threshold. The last "virtual" round is the redistribution of the second-place candidate's votes to the first-place candidate.

      @MeganatLFPress It would be interesting to run off each candidate against the other: first place gets the alternative votes from second and vice versa. (More representative? Maybe, maybe not.)
