@timbray Have you seen @FullyChargedShw? Lots about emerging electric tech (not just cars) and have talked about this aspect quite a bit. Used batteries are viable elsewhere too; Renault (I think) is reusing EV batteries for home power, as it's a different charge/consumption profile.
