@NeuroBeats I know there was a lot of music matching research several years ago, although as I recall it focused on song fingerprinting and exact matches (e.g. Shazam). Haven't come across note sequence matching, but I'm sure someone has a big corpus just waiting for some machine learning.On twitter.com
