  3. Hey #ldnont! If you want to see some really sweet, really excellent theatre this weekend (especially if you owe your partner in advance for tolerating The Game) check out #AlvegoRoot's "february: a love story". (Also, free and super-tasty snacks!) alvegoroottheatre.com/february.html

  6. #ldnont hates cyclists, part n of a series. Despite it being blocked for several days, sending cyclists into the narrow driving lane, no work has been done on this half-block section of cycle path. Wagers on whether it'll be open before the new year? (Snowstorm notwithstanding.)

  11. Pretty much the year-round parking situation in downtown #ldnont (and probably your city as well).
A frame from the comic strip "For Better or For Worse": Elly, carrying an armload of bags of Christmas shopping, has just run to her car after realizing her parking meter is expiring. As she looks worriedly at the piece of paper on her windshield, the parking enforcement official explains "Oh, we're not handin' out tickets this month, ma'am. This here's a shopping coupon!"
  12. From my bldg mgmt on a nearby street: "UPDATE The London Fire Department has informed Building and Property Managment that all residents are to stay inside for safety concerns regarding a gas leak downtown. All businesses and residences must stay inside!" Coordinated response...? @lpsmediaoffice/1598717586048536578
  13. Elno the Smuk is banning people for making jokes about him? Honestly, I don't see the need to; he does well enough at generating ridicule all by himself.
  14. The #Brickendens #BrickendenAwards are winding down operations. #ldnthtr theatreinlondon.ca/2022/11/brickenden-awards-to-end/ (and brickenden.org/2022/brickenden-awards-to-end/ from the source).
  15. As someone who runs a similar site (documenting theatre events, people, and venues across #ldnont and beyond) I really appreciate the effort @RCAatLSPUHall has put into this. @AnnMConnors/1596147241710129152
  16. I've seen two great movies in two nights that couldn't be any more different: #GoodNightOppy and #WomenTalking. The latter was followed by an insightful discussion with awesome writer and director @realsarahpolley. Thanks @westernuLaw for hosting her!

  19. A service that "Curat[es] and host[s...] local music [& partners with] musicians, record store owners, radio station DJs, local music venues, & music aficionados" sounds like the sort of thing a budding UNESCO City of Music might be interested in. #ldnont musicat.co/

  30. Ooh, this is a good one. Very interesting to compare it to Wordplay (2006) in the wake of the 2020 open letter mentioned in the piece. 32. Does anyone in #ldnont (maybe @soholdnont?) know if the Vision SoHo redevelopment includes a connection to the TVP? Would be great to have (relatively) safe access directly from Colborne. #ldnontbike
  33. Got hit by a car tonight northbound on Richmond at the York underpass. Driver didn't even slow down, just continued on and made a left turn. (I was in my car, well inside the lane, and he solidly clipped my driver's side mirror.)
